Ambassador V. Afyan's visit to Marwah Studios

On 21 March 2024, the Ambassador of Armenia to India, Vahagn Afyan paid a visit to "Marwah Studios", a prominent film production company situated in Noida's Film City, Uttar Pradesh, India. During the visit, a meeting took place between the President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry of India (ICMEI) and the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT), the founder of "Marwah Studios", Sandeep Marwah.

Building upon the previous meeting hosted at the Armenian Embassy just days ago, where fruitful discussions on potential collaboration took place, the interlocuters delved deeper into the organization of the screening of Armenian films in India. During the meeting, it was proposed to expand further cooperation in this field, which will include the implementation of training programs and joint film festivals of the relevant specialists of the Armenian side, and the participation of filmmakers in each other's notable events. Both sides emphasized the implementation of cultural initiatives aimed at expanding the mutual recognition of the two peoples with a history of thousands of years of friendship.

Ambassador Afyan familiarized with the capabilities of the film studio and also took part in an event celebrating Holi, one of India's most significant festivals. The event was organized by students from the aforementioned academy.
